Devils Golf Course
Devil’s Golf Course is part of a salt pan covering over two hundred square miles. It is made of sodium chloride (table salt) and etched by the forces of erosion, even as pressure from growing salt crystals forces more salt to the surface. A short walk through this mind-boggling landscape gives you a true feel for the remoteness and harshness of this environment.
The turn off to the Devil’s Golf Course is located 13 miles from the park visitor center on Badwater Road. The parking area is almost 1.5 miles down the dirt road; this road is maintained and usable by most vehicles.
